Come and See Us

Choosing a school is an important decision and we encourage all parents and girls to visit King’s in order to get to know us and decide whether we are the right choice of school for their daughter. We hold events for prospective entrants and their parents:

Taster Mornings: for girls in Years 5 and 6.  This is a fun-filled Saturday morning of activities such as creative writing, baking cakes, LAMDA, Maths puzzles, sports competitions, Art or DT projects and exploding volcanoes. Our next Taster Morning is Saturday 15 September 2018 and prior registration is required. Please click here for more Taster Morning information.

Open Events:

Friday 21 September 2018, 4.30-7.30pm

All welcome - No registration required

Open Evening provides the ideal opportunity to talk to our girls, staff, and parents about life at King's High.

Through fun and hands-on events in classrooms and science labs, tours with girls, presentations, displays, and informal opportunities to talk to senior staff and current parents, we aim to show the rich diversity of opportunities available to our girls, and how rich and varied life is as a King's girl.

There will also be the opportunity to hear from the Head Master at 5pm and 6.30pm, as well as finding our more about 'Project One Campus'. (

We look forward to welcoming you on Friday 6 July. In the meantime, please do read our recent ISI Inspection report, of which we are extremely proud, by clicking here and our most recent newsletter, which can be accessed here.

Sixth Form Open Evening: 27 September 6.15 for 6.30PM

Registration is not required, but is recommended.

On 27 September, we will welcome Year 11 girls who are interested in joining our Sixth Form and their parents to join our own Year 11 pupils and parents for an informative evening about Sixth@King's. After short presentations from the Head Master and Head of Sixth Form, current Sixth Formers will speak about their Sixth@King's experiences at King’s. Our guests will then be given the opportunity to visit subject departments and to discuss subject choices with staff and our Sixth Form pupils. To learn more about the Evening or to request a copy of our Sixth Form Prospectus, please contact our Registrar, Mrs G Worrall, on 01926 494485 or via email:

School Visits: We invite you to visit the school at any time, as this allows you to ask the Head Master, staff and pupils more detailed questions and to have a thorough look around on a normal school day. Please contact our Registrar to make an appointment. A school visit and meeting with the Head Master is an essential part of the Admissions procedure.

For further information on any of the above, please contact our Registrar, Mrs Gina Worrall on 01926 494 485 or via email:
