Legacy and Bursary Campaigns – How You Can Support Us

Bursary

Bursaries can make a difference, enabling a girl to obtain the benefits of a King’s High education.

Bursaries are awards offering free or discounted fees based on financial need. The Foundation Awards scheme is based on means testing. The bursaries are offered on a sliding scale, dependent upon parental income and subject to the results of the entrance examination and interview. Bursary awards are reviewed annually.

Bursary Fund Donations

If you would like to contribute to our Bursary Fund Campaign, you can pledge a regular monthly amount or a one-time donation.  If you would like to pledge a regular amount, please contact Alumnae Relations: Janie Horton: j.horton@kingshighwarwick.co.uk or Emma Guest: e.guest@kingshighwarwick.co.uk

If you would like to make a one-time donation, please click here to download a donation form.

Legacy Funding

You may consider leaving a legacy to King’s High School for a number of reasons:

  • Gratitude for happy years you spent at the school
  • To perpetuate a cherished name
  • Appreciation of the good start a King’s High education gave you, your daughter or another member of your family

Whatever their size, legacies directly benefit girls by enabling them to have a first class education in the finest facilities. Declaring your intention to leave a legacy helps us to plan for the education of future generations of deserving girls. Your declaration is simply a statement of intent, and is in no way a legally binding commitment. The school recognises that your decision to leave a legacy is a private and personal matter. Your declaration of intention to leave a legacy to the school will never be published, but it does enable the school to offer its thanks discreetly in a number of ways.

There are four main types of legacy. The interests of your descendants must always be considered first, and we would strongly advise you to take legal advice as to what type of legacy is most appropriate in your circumstances. We invite you to complete a legacy pledge form, which can be obtained by emailing Emma Guest: e.guest@kingshighwarwick.co.uk. Should you wish to discuss your intentions before making a commitment, the Head Master will be pleased to have a confidential discussion with you. Please make an appointment via the Head Master's Secretary, Mrs Ralphs, at d.ralphs@kingshighwarwick.co.uk or by phoning the school on 01926 494485.

We invite anyone interested in providing a scholarship to contact Mr Nicholson through his assistant, Mrs Diane Ralphs, on 01926 494485 or via email at d.ralphs@kingshighwarwick.co.uk.
