We usually accept between 90 and 100 pupils in Year 7, using the 1 September birthday watershed for determining eligibility.

The entrance examination consists of papers in English (30 minutes), Mathematics (45 minutes) and Verbal Reasoning (60 minutes including 15 minutes practice). To download specimen examination papers in English  and Mathematics and for further  information on Verbal Reasoning, click here.

Interviews are held the week after the examination and take the form of a short group interview with a senior member of staff.

You will be notified of the results and details of any financial assistance that we can offer soon after the interview. Successful girls and their parents will be invited into school during the summer term to receive more information and meet their Form Tutors.
