On the first week back during Spring Term we experienced blizzard snow conditions. Many girls and staff braved the conditions and made it into school on Wednesday, 6th January. Despite the weather the school ran as normal a timetable as possible - science, mathematics, foreign languages, art and DT among some of the subject areas being taught. Learning was inspired by the conditions outside with girls drawing the magical scene outside in art from the warmth of our new creative arts centre. On the more fun side of things, a snowman was built outside the sixth form centre with some tennis balls as eyes wearing King's High hockey attire. The current bout of cold weather had been the most prolonged spell of freezing conditions across the UK since December 1981.
