King's High Summer Ball
Now that Christmas and New Year are but a distant memory, we all need something in our diaries to really look forward to. So here it is, THE BIG EVENT!
King's High and KHAPS (King's High Association of Parents and Staff) warmly invite you to our Summer Ball on Saturday, 26th May, 2012 in The Marquee at Nailcote Hall, Berkswell.

About Us

The members of our association organise a number of fund raising and social events throughout the academic year. All the money we raise goes directly back to the school in the form of donations for awards, support for the girls’ charity projects and a host of other things not covered by the school’s budget. For example, this year we bought hoodies for girls who were successful in getting into the Under 14s National Hockey Finals. As you can see we didn’t miss the chance of promoting ourselves!

Our latest donations to the school include:

  • A new TV monitor for the foyer of the Creative Arts Centre
  • Sheltered dugout seating for spectators at the girls’ hockey pitches
  • New King's High lab coats for the girls to wear at Chemistry competitions
  • New tents for the Duke of Edinburgh Award expeditions
  • King's High hats and hoodies for the girls going to the English Schools Swimming Association Finals
  • A 50% contribution towards King's High hoodies for the U14 and U16 Water Polo teams
  • King's High saddlecloths for the equestrian teams

Help Us

We're always looking for helpers for our events and would welcome some new members to our committee. We hold just two meetings a term so it’s not a big commitment but it does make a big difference to the school and is a great way of making new friends.

If you are interested in helping, or joining us, please contact the current Chair, Tim Wilkes on 07940754552 or email timdwilkes@gmail.com for further information.
