King's High students follow a pathway for elite Sport

King’s High netballer, Mollie won an Under 15 Hub Coaches Player award (while competing as an Under 13!) at Loughborough Lightning’s Academy Awards. Loughborough University’s Lightning Academy finds and develops players to compete at an elite level.

Fourteen-year-old Isabella has been accepted on Everyone Active’s ‘Sporting Champions’ scheme for talented athletes across the UK. The programme, which is led by Olympic hurdler, Colin Jackson, has helped many athletes on their path to national and international success. Bella, who holds the position for a year, will receive support for her sporting ambitions.

King’s High’s own Talented Athletes Programme provides a foundation for anyone considering sport at high levels, through a tailored programme of talks, events and advice, combined with teaching students how to develop their sport alongside school work and life.  You can find out more from our Sports page here
