Boarding is an integral part of the Warwick Schools Foundation. There is a long and highly successful history of boarding across the Foundation campus, where pupils benefit from being part of community where you live, learn and thrive together. Following the outstanding boarding experience of our Sixth Form students at King’s High, we are delighted to extend our boarding provision, including flexi-boarding, to students in Year 9 and above.
Our dedicated girls’ boarding house, Way House, is beautifully refurbished and located on site. It offers excellent accommodation for both living and studying, with the exceptional facilities of King’s High and the Warwick Schools Foundation right on the doorstep.

Award-winning King’s High has an impressive array of accolades, including being named The ISA’s Senior School of the Year and The Sunday Times’ top independent school in Warwickshire for academic performance. Located just over 90 minutes from London, in the heart of the country, the school combines academic excellence with exceptional pastoral care.
In recent years, our GCSE results have been record-breaking, reflecting sustained academic excellence. Nearly a third of all grades awarded have been at the very top grade 9, with just under 60% of grades at 9–8, setting new benchmarks for the school. Sixth Form students have also achieved excellent A Level results and continue to progress to leading universities and prestigious degree apprenticeships.
Forces Families
We are also proud to welcome Forces families to King’s High School, and welcome applications from families who are looking for a friendly, warm and caring place for their daughter to study.
Families in receipt of CEA will pay no more than 10% of the total boarding cost for their daughter. This means that we will bridge any shortfall between CEA and our boarding fee with a Forces Boarding Award.
The unique boarding experience at King’s High offers the “Best of Both Worlds”: single-sex academic teaching combined with co-educational co-curricular opportunities beyond the classroom. Our 55-acre campus features a world-class music school, our own theatre, and outstanding sporting facilities.
In addition to full boarding, we offer flexi-boarding from Year 9 upwards, as well as short-term boarding and innovative Future Ready courses.
Way House provides a warm and welcoming environment where girls can live, study and grow in confidence, supported by a dedicated pastoral and residential team. With everything located on our shared campus, boarders enjoy both independence and security within a thriving educational community.

Our exceptional co-curricular programme offers over 260 weekly activities, while our acclaimed Friday Afternoon Activities Programme encourages girls to discover new talents, develop passions and embrace leadership opportunities.
As a flagship centre for creative thinking, our Curriculum of the Future Project outlines a bold vision for the years ahead. It focuses not only on academic content, but also on the transferable skills, habits and character traits that remain with our students long after they leave school.
In Year 9, pupils are invited to complete our Changemaker Award, recognising imagination, collaboration and community responsibility. In Years 10 and 11, pupils can study three distinctive Future Ready courses, unique to King’s High.
