On their first day at King’s High, the Year 7s are told: “Once a King’s High girl, always a King’s High girl.” Before they know it, seven years have passed, and they sit alongside parents brimming with pride at Upper Sixth Speech Day, ready to begin the next chapter of their lives with memories and friendships they will treasure forever.
A shared sense of purpose
Being part of the King’s High community means belonging to a network of support, encouragement, and inspiration. It is a place where students celebrate each other’s successes, share challenges, and learn the importance of kindness, empathy, and respect. The community stretches across year groups through peer mentoring, Big Sister schemes, collaborative projects, and co-curricular clubs. Every student feels connected, valued, and empowered to grow.
Each new generation of changemakers joins those who have advanced cardiology, rheumatology, and other fields of medicine, pioneered the use of AI in education, become entrepreneurs, founded charities, or achieved renown as musicians, athletes, or in the worlds of film and television. Others make a difference in less visible but no less meaningful ways as teachers, office workers, and parents, living out the values they developed at school and bringing small, mighty moments of joy to others.
Being part of King’s High is more than attending school. It is joining a lifelong family. Alumnae remain connected through friendships, networks, and opportunities to give back, while current students learn that collaboration, community engagement, and ethical leadership are at the heart of everything we do.
