We are passionate about supporting local primary and secondary schools and building lasting relationships.
Our work with Evergreen School, a broad-spectrum special school, includes the Foundation’s Holiday Action Programme, enhanced to offer weekly places to children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Students and staff collaborate to provide swimming classes, go-karting, crafts, and other activities. To extend provision to children with more profound disabilities, we partnered with Let’s Play, a disability playgroup in Oxfordshire, to run a fully inclusive holiday playgroup at Evergreen School. Students are thoroughly trained in-house before joining, covering modules on autism, safeguarding, first aid, and activity planning.
mentoring and support
Many of our Sixth Formers act as mentors for younger children, providing additional in-class support.
We also have a special relationship with a primary school in Riandira, Kenya, where some of our Lower Sixth Form students spend time improving facilities and helping the children.
Charity
Funds are raised for numerous charities through a wide variety of events, including our annual Macmillan coffee morning, school fetes, sponsored walks, and sales for our six house charities:

We also organise impromptu fundraising activities throughout the year to respond to emerging needs. Across the Foundation, we host two non-uniform days annually, as well as a Christmas jumper day, with beneficiaries chosen by our Foundation charity committee. Our community initiatives include regular collections for the local food bank, a Christmas shoebox appeal for underprivileged children, and donations of presents to patients in hospital or residents in care homes during the festive season.
Pupils are encouraged to take an active role in a wide range of community initiatives. King’s High students work closely with the ‘Kissing it Better’ charity, visiting Warwick Hospital, Leamington Rehabilitation Hospital, and Park View Nursing Home to entertain patients, share conversations, and offer companionship.
In addition, our Friday afternoon programme provides opportunities for students to take part in First Aid courses and bespoke caring programmes, designed to develop empathy, understanding, and practical skills in supporting others. Pupils also volunteer in local schools, contribute to Saturday and Inspire School programmes, and support children with additional needs during holidays and school term activities.
