2020 has so far been a year like no other, and it has been particularly challenging for our students in public examination years. Despite the challenges over recent months, we are immensely proud of our Upper Sixth pupils and all they have achieved through their time at the Foundation schools.   

Overall, 52% of all grades awarded at King’s were A*-A, and 81% A*-B. At Warwick School, 55% of all grades awarded were A*-A, and 81% A*-B.

They have been exceptional role models for our younger pupils, bringing unique qualities to our community and encompassing our motto ‘Spiritus Reget’. We are immensely proud of their achievements and wish them the very best for their future.”

Richard Nicholson, incoming Principal of the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation commented, ‘There has been much said in the media today about this year’s A Level results. We are used to talking about the unprecedented times we are living through, and today, the release of A Level grades has brought this into sharp focus for a whole generation of school leavers. Upper Sixth pupils were particularly hard-hit by not being able to sit their A Levels, for so many the pinnacle of their school career. Today has been about both celebrating those pupils whose dreams have come true and helping pupils for whom it has been very hard indeed - we will give them all the support they need, just as we have throughout their school lives here. School years are not only about examinations. So much more also comes from achievements in sports, music, the arts and friendships made; these too, are to be celebrated and cherished. We wish all our pupils leaving us this year the very best for the next chapter of their lives and we know they will look back at their time here at King’s High and Warwick with great fondness.’
