Greg Prosser - Teacher, Composer, Performer
As a full time musician Greg Prosser is a teacher, composer and performer. In the earlier part of his career he worked in a number of established bands and as a session musician affording him to have worked with well-respected musicians, producers and Grammy award winning recording engineers.
Greg also records and writes for a number of music libraries. You will often hear his compositions playing when tuning into TV or Radio. His extensive knowledge of music technology can be invaluable to his pupils when they’re learning and performing.
Teaching here at King’s High and at other independent schools he covers a range of styles including Electric, Steel String Acoustic, Bass and Classical guitar. Alongside one on one lessons Greg runs a number of guitar ensembles and bands with his pupils, having them perform regularly at school concerts and events in the Warwickshire and Oxfordshire area.
When teaching one on one with his pupils Greg prides himself on working towards the specific musical needs of the pupil and their playing style. His work ethic and dedication to teaching has proven to show that his pupils not only achieve excellent results in both performing and exams but also a number go onto further their musical education after school.
