'GCSE cookery doesn't get tougher than this...' GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition students showed admirable calm, as they prepared to tackle the MasterChef-style practical component of their GCSE course. They had three hours to produce a three-course meal, and showcase a huge range of skills, from making bread and pasta, to filleting fish. We cannot display the fruits of their labours, since everything is carried out – and remains - under exam conditions, but what a great set of skills they have learned in their lessons, to carry on through university, work, and life!
