Transition to King’s

Transition - we understand that starting a new school is a big step and we want all girls to look forward with confidence and eager anticipation to this next phase in their lives.

We believe that familiarising herself with her new school, getting to know fellow pupils and meeting her teachers before her first day will give your daughter a great start.

We would strongly encourage her to attend as many of our events as she can; these will be as follows:

  • 29 June 2022 Moving Up Induction for parents and all girls who will be joining King’s High
  • Summer Term Treasure Hunt and Tea for all new Year 7 girls

Entry at Mid Years

Places occasionally become available in Years 8 and 9 and we are usually able to accept a few girls into the GCSE course at the start of Year 10. Acceptance is based on performance in an examination in English, Mathematics and a Modern Foreign Language, an interview and a report from your daughter’s current school.

Please contact the Admissions Team to see if we have any available places.
