The Boarding Experience

Way House

Way House will provide comfortable, ‘home from home’, family-like accommodation for our boarders. It is being carefully styled to provide modern and homely accommodation in what is a beautiful heritage building, with high ceilings and large windows.

Bedrooms are spacious and will be double occupancy and include study and relaxation space. A generous sitting room and a boarders' kitchen complete the accommodation, along with bathrooms.

The house is deliberately family-sized and when full, will be 12-16 boarders.

For breakfast and dinner, the whole boarding community will come together to eat in Warwick School dining room. Lunch is served with the King’s High community in the King’s High dining hall.

In addition to comfortable study bedrooms, Way House has its own sitting room, where the girls can relax, socialise, and catch up on events from their day.

Events and Trips

A wide range of events and trips are part of every pupil’s experience at King’s High. Concerts, plays, festivals, sports fixtures, and visiting speakers all contribute to a rich and varied academic and co-curricular life. Trips, both within the UK and abroad, add a further dimension to school life.

Our boarders will have access to all these activities as well as events organised specifically for them as part of the boarding experience.

Some of these will be for the girls alone, and some with the boy boarders at Warwick School.

Boarding trips

Alongside regular trips and activities organised more locally, we offer trips further afield, such as a few days in Paris and day visits to Brighton or London. Other activities are arranged during weekends and include music concerts, horse riding, shopping trips to Birmingham and Bicester Village, and of course visits to local sporting events.

Boarders also have full use of the schools’ fantastic facilities, including the swimming pool and indoor sports hall.
