Personal Achievements Awards 2021
The King's High Association of Parents and Staff (KHAPS) are delighted to launch the Personal Achievements Awards 2021. The scheme offers financial support towards the costs of specific projects of personal interest, encouraging King’s girls to pursue their out-of-school interests, passions and ambitions.
King’s High is very grateful for the work and support of KHAPS. Each year, the Association funds some 25 Personal Achievement Awards, each worth up to £300. These awards help to fund a huge range of different interests. In the 2020 Awards, girls attended Headstart Engineering Courses, the National Children’s Orchestra, a Fashion Styling & Communication Course, and competed in the West Midlands Junior Triathlon Series. They have attended Leicester University Space School, language courses, cookery courses, done work experience abroad, and completed a PADI Open Water Dive course, totalling £5,136.
