Flourishing partnerships: Evergreen School and King's High
It has been very good to be able to see our friends at Evergreen in person again
We are very proud of our partnership with Evergreen School. Evergreen formed on 1 September 2020, after the amalgamation of Ridgeway School and Round Oak School. They are an all age school (4-19) for children and young people with special educational needs, and have two sites in Warwick. Their flourishing Evergreen Enterprises, led by their sixth form students, include the Evergreen Community Book Café (open Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings), and the Enterprise Shop.
Evergreen take up the story: ‘Ten of King’s High’s wonderful Sixth Form students have been visiting us every Friday afternoon to support our classes on the Brittain Lane site. Our Assistant Headteachers were invited recently to speak at King’s High, and engaged in discussion with staff and students about Special Education, and how the community can support enablement and inclusion.’
