Our musicians to join forces with internationally acclaimed choir at Birmingham Town Hall this weekend

35 young singers from King’s High and Warwick School have the unique opportunity to join forces with the internationally acclaimed choir Ex Cathedra at Birmingham Town Hall this Sunday, 19 October.
The pupils have been working hard in rehearsals and were recently joined by conductor James Burton (formerly Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Hallé and Schola Cantorum Oxford) for a rehearsal here at school.
In the concert, they will be singing Duruflé’s Requiem plus a work penned by James Burton himself, St Cuthbert and the Otters. Ex Cathedra will also perform other stunning music that showcases the choir and the extraordinary organ at the Town Hall.
Do come along, support our pupils, and experience both the power and serenity of choral music as you’ve never heard it before!
