Festival of Changemaking

This week, we’re celebrating our annual Festival of Changemaking - a vibrant week of ideas, creativity, and inspiration, showcasing the many ways our pupils at King's High can make a difference in the world.

From lively debates on AI to exploring Changemaking careers, students across all year groups are engaging in activities designed to spark curiosity and action. Our Changemaker Documentary encourages reflection on the power of individual voices and collective impact.

We’re also delighted to welcome Chef Tony Davies, who will be running a cookery demonstration and tasting session with Year 11 students - a delicious highlight of the week!

Creativity is set to thrive across campus with Changemaker Posters being created in Art across all year groups, the Big Draw running throughout the week, and Scripts, Sets and Spotlights, offering insights into exciting theatre careers. In STEM, pupils are taking on the Junior Astro Challenge and a fast-paced STEM Changemakers Kahoot will test their teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Our High Flyers sessions and Big Questions discussions will give students a platform to think big, challenge ideas, and explore what it truly means to be a Changemaker.

The week will round off with a fun, collaborative house activity - a fitting finale to a celebration of creativity, innovation, and community spirit at King’s High.
