ISOTY 2025 Awards

We are delighted that King's High has been shortlisted for Regional Independent School of the Year: Central in the coveted Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2025.

King’s High sets the standard for modern education through future-ready innovation rooted in our regional setting. We are the only school locally to offer Engineering as a distinct discipline, alongside a range of GCSE alternative courses exploring Sustainable Engineering, Data Analysis, Social Justice and Climate Change through real-world assessment. With record exam results for a third consecutive year, national awards, and ISI recognition of a 'Significant Strength' for Changemaking, we are pioneering educational innovation.

Inspired by the Midlands’ leading automotive and aerospace industries, students engage in exciting STEM projects - building and racing a Formula 24 car, restoring a Rolls Royce Viper Jet Engine, constructing a heritage bi-plane, and launching rockets to 1000ft. Our recent Careers Fair connected students with over 150 organisations, while others gain placements and apprenticeships with Dyson, JLR and Leonardo Helicopters.

At King’s, innovation is matched by compassion. Our students volunteer weekly across hospices, hospitals, care homes, and schools. We run Saturday School, inclusive holiday programmes for disabled children, and partner with local charities like Evergreen and Let’s Play. And as founders of the Warwick Schools Foundation Multi-Academy Trust, we’ve established a national model for state-independent partnerships.
