Students at King’s High School, Warwick, are celebrating another excellent set of A Level results, with around half of all grades awarded at A–A* and 80% at A–B*.

The outstanding results have secured a wide range of exciting opportunities for the school’s Year 13 students, with the majority gaining places at their first-choice universities. Students are progressing to leading universities across the UK and overseas, as well as prestigious degree apprenticeships.

The breadth of destinations and courses reflects the ambition and diversity of the year group. Students will go on to study Medicine, Law, Veterinary Medicine, Archaeology, Mathematics and Philosophy, Cyber Security, Politics and International Relations, Marine Engineering, Neuroscience and many other subjects.

Higher education destinations include Cambridge, Edinburgh, Durham, UCL, LSE, Italia Conti, the University of Queensland and the University of British Columbia, while one student has secured a highly competitive degree apprenticeship with Unilever.

There have also been some exceptional subject-level performances. Two thirds of all grades in Art, Computer Science and French were at A–A*, while 90% of History grades and 80% of Politics grades were at A–B*. In Mathematics, 57% of grades were at A–A*.

“These results are a wonderful reflection of the determination, talent and ambition of our Year 13 students. I am immensely proud of everything they have achieved, and particularly pleased that their success is opening up such an exciting range of opportunities for them.

“What stands out is not simply the strength of the results, but the extraordinary breadth of what our students are now going on to do. From Cambridge and LSE to leading universities overseas, and from Medicine and Veterinary Medicine to Cyber Security and the creative arts, they are following paths that reflect their individual talents and aspirations.

“It was a real privilege to see the students together today, celebrating with their friends, families and teachers. They have contributed so much to the life of King’s High, and I wish them every success and happiness as they begin the next chapter of their lives. I have no doubt that they will make a very significant contribution wherever their futures take them.”
