Shining a light on Careers and Higher Education

We are celebrating National Careers Week (7-12 March) with workshops and talks for our students. We want to bring students, employers and businesses together, so this is a call-out for speakers. If you are interested in giving a talk, or know someone who might be, Caroline Gilbert, Head of Futures, would be delighted to hear from you. Please email her at c.gilbert@kingshighwarwick.co.uk

Our Careers and Higher Education Department work tirelessly to support our students on their journeys – always varied, always interesting - beyond King’s High.  Their e-newsletter for pupils - Your Future Bulletin - is a one stop shop for Careers and Higher Education, Apprenticeships, Work Experience and Training Programmes. It is the most fantastic resource, packed full of content to help and inspire our pupils. To give just a taste, the most recent issue covers:

  • Gap Year advice.

  • Unifrog live webinars.

  • How to compare universities online.

  • Different types of Apprenticeships.

  • Medic masterclass.

  • GriersonDocLab’s training schemes for factual TV and documentary filmaking.

  • Workshops for 15-19 year-olds, including robotics in space; careers in (ethical) hacking; tech in finance.

  • Barclays life skills.

  • Springpod Learn Lounge – live and interactive careers talks.
